Psychological and Educational School-Based Services
Parents and teachers do not like to see their children struggle. This is particularly true when the child or adolescent has a disability which makes learning new information and skills frustrating and difficult. Cognitive, emotional, physical, communication and behavioral disabilities are challenging but they need not lead to frustration and failure. The psychological and educational habilitation services of RMB Counseling Associates provide teachers and parents with the tools necessary to teach children with disabilities new ways to learn and communicate.
To "habilitate" is to help an individual maximally develop his or her native abilities and to acquire the necessary functional skill sets to live a happy and personally productive life. The professional staff of RMB Counseling Associates is experienced in providing psychological and educational services to children and adolescents, their families, teachers, and other care providers.
